Resume:

Pan Jiaqiang, male, born in October 1978 in Anhui Province, PhD in agriculture, associate professor. Director of Department of internal medicine and diagnosis in college of veterinary medicine, South China Agricultural University. Concurrently the executive director of veterinary internal medicine branch of China Academy of animal husbandry and veterinary medicine.

He graduated from college of veterinary medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University in 2000 and got bachelor's degree. In May 2005 he graduated from college of veterinary medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University and got his Ph.D. Degree. In  July 2005, he participate in the work of the South China Agricultural University in Guangzhou, engaged in veterinary medicine and veterinary clinical diagnostics teaching and research work. He received associate professor position at South China Agricultural University in 2007. 

At present the main research area is animal nutrition and metabolic diseases and poisoning disease, pathology and diagnosis of small animal diseases. He hosted by the National Natural Science Foundation, and Guangdong Province Agricultural Foundation. In recent years, he published more than 80 papers, including 15 SCI papers. The research project won the Ministry of science and technology prize and the Ministry of agriculture prize.

Research Interests:

1. Pathogenesis and prevention of pulmonary hypertension in broilers.

2. Small animal urolithiasis.

3. Study on natural plant extracts instead of antibiotics in poultry.
