Resume:

Ya-Qiong Guo,Female,Born in January, 1988, Henan province, Ph.D.in Engineering, Associate Professor. 

She received her Ph.D Degree in 2015 at East China University of Science and Technology. During postgraduate stage, she had been doing her Ph.D. program for two years in Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (USA), followed by two years of postdoctoral fellow at East China University of Science and Technology. She received associate professor position at South China Agricultural University in 2017.

Ya-Qiong Guo has been doing her research in parasitology for more than eight years. Her research is currently focusing on epidemiology and comparative genomics of emerging foodborne, waterborne, and zoonotic parasites in humans and animals, such as Cryptosporidium, microsporidia, Cyclospora. She has published seventeen papers on SCI journals, including Emerging Infectious Disease, Journal of Clinical Microbiology, and BMC Genomics. And her publications have been cited for more than 300 times.
